About Our Logo
The AltruVistas logo is about human generosity and its relationship to gratitude and spirit.
The logo’s roots belong to the Hawai’ian symbol for Thundering Grace. In Wise Secrets of Aloha: Learn and Live the Sacred Art of Lomilomi, Kahuna Harry Uhane Jim defines the two aspects of the symbol, and explains how together, they represent the Hawai‘ian understanding of the essential relationship between humans and divinity:
Grace: The inalienable and unmerited favor and love from divinity.
Gratitude: When human beings acknowledge the presence of Grace, they naturally feel Gratitude.
The Thundering Grace symbol represents the crosscurrent of Grace receiving Gratitude.
Harry Uhane Jim says, “It is the Hawai’ian intent to call and feed the thundering and apparent light of divinity wherever this symbol is engaged in the present… [it is] an ancient and current tool for anchoring heaven in your space here on earth.”
This crosscurrent anchors our regenerative travel philosophy!
