Beautiful By Nature in Turks and Caicos

Join Fleuretta Waltrous of Flo's Body Shop and experience the beauty, history, vibrancy, and relaxation of Turks and Caicos! The journey begins with a cultural talk that allows us to learn about TCI’s rich history, heritage and resilience. We'll tour the Cheshire Hall Plantation and visit the Junkanoo Museum. We will also tour the slave ship Trouvadore,see the Molasses Reef Wreck Artifacts and the Sapodilla Hill Rock Carvings, and tour the Heritage House, which is a historically correct recreation of a typical 1800s Caicos dwelling. We will also learn about the history of conch farming.

Activities include learning local dance styles, visiting a crafts cooperative and learning how to make our own fans, and participating in a cooking class We'll also exchange with a Women's Cooperative and a Youth Culture Center.

Plus plenty of unscheduled time for beach, relaxation, and individual exploration, plus of course, Flo's movement practice sessions.
