About this journey
We'll learn about the indigenous history of the Yucatán, and visit UNESCO World Heritage sites Chichen Itzá and the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve. Through meeting with various community partners, we'll learn about indigenous rights from a youth perspective, marine and wildlife conservation, and ecotourism and community development.
We'll also take Spanish classes, explore local arts and cooking, and indulge in plenty of beach time, snorkeling, and cenote swimming as we travel!
