PCC and AltruVistas present Culture and World Heritage in Cambodia and Laos! Support local artisans, engage in local communities, and appreciate the ancient wonders of Cambodia and Laos. Tour Siem Reap and shop at Artisans of D’Angkor. Enjoy lunch at a vocational school and training project. Stand in awe of Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument in the world, with a special visit to Caneay Srei, the “Citadel of Women.” Depart for Tonle Sap Lake to visit an environmental center within a floating village. Before transferring to Laos, have some hands-on time at a textile dying facility and training program. In Laos, spend the majority of your time in Luang Prabang, learning about the expansive history, religion, and architecture of the town. Engage with local conservation efforts with a visit to a sun bear rescue and refuge and an elephant ride at the Elephant Park Project.

$3270 double room accommodations
$600 single room supplement
Includes accomodations in 3 and 4 star hotels, the one way flight between Cambodia and Laos, transportation to and from activities in AC motor coach, 2 meals daily, qualified trip leaders and guides, honoraria to speakers, donations to partner organizations, all program fees during the day, and base tips during included meals. Not included: one meal a day (either lunch or dinner), extra beverages, individual tips (to hotel staff, driver, and the guides) personal expenses, optional evening activities, airfare to Siem Reap and from Luang Prabang.
